Read full detailsThe Alentejo, a region in southern Portugal, covers a huge area of around a third of the country, stretching south from the Rio Tejo to the northern mountain ranges of the Algarve. The name, Alentejo, derives from the words além do Tejo, beyond the Tejo River. This is Portugal’s garden, the bulk of the region given over to huge cork plantations, wheat fields, and vineyards – and though much of it is flat, the region repays exploration, offering unexpected surprises, from ancient dolmens and superbly sited castles to Roman ruins and sweeping Atlantic beaches.
The region’s major draws are its towns, two of which have UNESCO World Heritage status: the spectacular fortified town of Elvas, and Évora, whose Roman temple, medieval walls and cathedral have put it firmly on the tourist circuit. Management:
Spatia Management will be responsible for managing and maintaining Spatia Melides in a manner consistent with the standard of an international five-star luxury resort. It is a condition of purchase that Buyers sign the Owners Agreement and pay Periodic and Supplementary Payment fee to cover the costs related to the management, operation and
maintenance of Spatia Melides.
Rental Pool:
Owners will have the option to make available the unit for rental by Spatia Management. The rental will be a pooled system whereby the Owners will receive income generated from the rental of all the units of the corresponding pool according to the conditions set out in the Incorporation Certificate and Owners Management Agreement. Owners are free to occupy their unit all year, however, all rentals must be through by Spatia Management.
Owners will receive an agreement percentage of the net rental revenue of their residence, less deductions of all fees and expenses for the renting of the residence.
