The Maldives
The Maldives is blessed with year-round sunshine and average temperatures of 28°C, rising to 32°C during March and April. South Malé Atoll
South Malé Atoll is separated from North Malé Atoll by a very deep channel, Vaadhu Kandu. It is oblong-shaped and is around 35km in length. It comprises 22 islands which are mainly located around the eastern fringe. The atoll's interior features a myriad of coral patches and reef which can prove very difficult to navigate.
The waters of resorts in South Malé Atoll are much calmer and tranquil than in the North Malé Atoll as its home to only three inhabited islands in Maldives – Maafushi, Gulhi, and Guraidhoo. The rest are remote uninhabited island spread out across the atoll, boasting its unadulterated greenery and the reputed white sandy beaches of Maldives.

Purchase structure:
You will receive a long-term leasehold title of the property, on a strata title basis. The strata title allows for individual ownership of part of a property (such as a villa) with shared ownership of common areas on the resort.
Upon acquisition of a property at SIX & SIX RESIDENCES Maldives, you and your family will be entitled to receive corporate resident visas in the Maldives. Corporate resident visas are granted for 5-year terms and can be renewed until expiry of the leasehold title of the property. You will not be required to stay in the Maldives for a minimum period in order to maintain the visa.
You are permitted unlimited usage each year without any restrictions. As an owner, you can enjoy your villa as often as you like. However, if you choose to enter the rental program of the resort, you will need to provide the hotel management team with sufficient notice.
The residences are managed and maintained by SIX & SIX RESIDENCES, ensuring top-tier service and upkeep.
There is no stamp duty applicable on the purchase of the villa.
There is no inheritance tax in the Maldives. Additionally, there is no capital gains tax applicable for holding the villa throughout the leasehold term. Capital gains tax will be payable on any profits from the sale or transfer of the villa.
