L’Ecrin du Doul is located between Narbonne and Gruissan, just 4km from the golden beaches of the Mediterranean and close to Narbonne, one of the earliest settlements of the Roman empire on the Via Domitia, now a lively market town of 60,000 people, through which runs the Canal du Midi. Narbonne boasts a vibrant social scene, centred around the beautiful 19th century covered market, with its buzzy stands and bars. The picturesque fishing village and leisure port of Gruissan is also nearby.
