Val Thorens is Europe’s highest ski resort at an altitude of 2,300m with 600km of piste. The resort has a snow range from 1,300m to 3,230m. It is part of The Three Valleys, one of the largest ski areas in the world. The resort offers a wide range of runs from gentle blue runs, intermediate reds plus challenging skiing for the more expert in The Three Valleys. As a ski resort, Val Thorens is known for its ski in, ski out accommodation.
The resort is also famous for having one of the best apres ski scenes in Europe with plenty of bars and restaurants as well as the Folie Douce known as the dancefloor on top of the world, and Bar 360. Also in the village is an aqua centre with a popular swimming pool and wellness facilities.
