Seven Amanera Founder Villas, ranging from three to six bedrooms of approximately 605 to 765 sq m internal living space, lie tucked away within their own private enclave and yet neighbouring the Resort. All Villas are framed by lush mountains and enjoy spectacular golf and ocean views.

There are also six two-bedroom hotel suites of approximately 225 sq m internal living space, integrated within the Resort, offering panoramic golf and sea views.

Approximately an hour's drive from Puerto Plata International Airport  or Nagua Airport, and two hours by car on the new highway from Santo Domingo, Playa Grande is easily accessible.

Getting There:

The Dominican Republic boasts nine international airports. Playa Grande is about one hour’s drive from two of them, Puerto Plata Gregorio Luperon International Airport (POP) and Nagua, El Catey Airport. Direct access into Puerto Plata is available via Miami, Newark, San Juan, Puerto Rico, London and Frankfurt and into El Catey via New York and Canada. The Resort is also accessible from the Santo Domingo and Santiago international airports, both two hours’ drive from the site.

Buyers guide

The following is being offered to the Aman Founder Villa buyers:

10% deposit on the agreed purchase price is payable by the purchaser upon execution of the Aman Villa Reservation Agreement.

30% down payment is required at the signing of the final Aman Villa Sale and Purchase Agreement, at which point the freehold title of the plot on which the Aman Villa will be built is transferred to the villa buyer.

20% is required by the Purchaser upon commencement of construction of the Villa.

20% payment needs to be made by the purchaser upon completion of the Villa hard shell.

20% final payment is due upon completion of construction of the Aman Villa and upon delivery of the Villa to the purchaser.

The completion period from the signing of the binding agreements is between 16-24 months depending on the villa size and complexity of the design.

In the case where the purchaser intends to enter into the Aman Villa Rental Program, any interior changes to their Villa need to be first discussed and approved by John Heah (a leading international architect with extensive experience in the residential resort sector) and Aman, to ensure that the brand’s luxury standards are maintained.

Purchasers of Aman Villas who do not wish to enter the Rental Program will be free to modify their Villa interiors according to their preferences.
