The Vines Resort & Spa has 180 degree mountain views and is set within The Vines of Mendoza Private Vineyards. Those acquiring six or more acres of private vineyard may build a custom home, designed and constructed by one of the region’s top architects and builders. Alternatively, owners can bring in their own architect. The Vines can manage every step of the design, permitting, budgeting and construction process.

Vineyards with housing rights at The Vines have a minimum of 6 acres and start at $300,000 USD without vines and $450,000 USD with vines already planted.

For a typical 250 sq m bespoke home built to high specification and set within a private vineyard of 6 acres expect to pay in the region of U$1,500-2,000 per square metre (so expect around US$1,000,000 including the vineyard). Once home construction is complete, The Vines can provide turn-key management including housekeeping, private chefs, maintenance services and optional participation in The Vines’ rental programme. The maximum build size is 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft). Construction of a home at The Vines typically takes 12 to 18 months to complete. All architectural plans are subject to final design approval by The Vines of Mendoza. Annual fees for water, waste disposal, road maintenance, security and property management services are an estimated $4,000 USD.

The Vines of Mendoza is a short 1.5 hour drive from Mendoza's International airport which has connections to both Buenos Aires and Santiago (Chile) international airports.

The City of Mendoza, known as "the land of sunshine and wine" is the capital of Cuyo province. Home to Mt Aconcagua and Malbec wines, it is one of the most beautiful cities in Argentina.

Nestled in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, it is a man-made oasis where the Mendoza and Tunuyán Rivers have been channelled into a huge irrigation system, giving life to everything it touches.

The climate in Mendoza is moderate, though its mountains provide a certain degree of aridity. Summer temperatures range between 18-33ºc with very hot days and fresh nights.  In the winter, the ski season, the minimum temperatures drop to 3ºc and the maximums hit 16ºc.

Mendoza's museums are full of historical interest, particularly pertaining to the Argentinian hero, San Martin. It has a buzzing café culture and is the starting point for adventures such as skiing, mountaineering and river rafting along the Mendoza River.  Not forgetting Mendoza's Wine Route, where visitors are able to sample produce from several local wineries which have made this region world famous.

A year round destination, Argentina's climate ranges from subtropical in the north to sub-arctic in the south. The best times to visit are November to March. Spring and autumn (September to November and April to May) offer pleasant, mild temperatures.
